Selling points April 22, 2012
Kendal Nursery School, or Brantfield as it is known locally, has had a great week. Their Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rating is now public knowledge, our local MP Tim Farron paid the school a visit, and they have a new website, which we helped them to design, build and populate.
Clare is a past parent so it’s been a lovely job. And one that was made easy as we had inside knowledge of their two huge selling points:
1. The experience the children have there (if there’s one thing that can sell a nursery school to prospective parents it’s children enjoying learning and thriving under the care of the teaching staff).
2. The amazing house and grounds in which they operate.
We hope that the very visual, photography led design does justice to both of these…

The homepage is dominated by a rolling gallery of images.

On page galleries with photo legends break up the body text but exemplify each of the points made within it.

The CMS allows the gallery images to change in line with the terms or learning topics.

A blog ensures that the site will be rich in fresh content. Social sharing supports the wider marketing strategy in which word of mouth recommendations play a big part.
Our marketing tip for this post is therefore ‘play to your strengths’.
