PR service: working with the media

We’ve been lucky enough to work with ‘good news only’ website, Cumbria Today, on a feature piece about Brathay’s 10 marathons in 10 days. Brathay is a local charity working with young people and we’ve been providing a PR service to them for the last eight years.

The Cumbria Today news site only publishes positive news and features about Cumbria, its people, places, events and businesses. They launched a new section about challenge events this weekend and it features an interview with Aly Knowles, Brathay Operations Manager.

Aly is responsible for Brathay’s annual fundraising challenges, which include a Groundhog Day style event, the Brathay 10 in 10, that sees runners of all shapes, sizes and athletic ability, run the Windermere Marathon every day on 10 consecutive days.

The Brathay 10in10 is also an event that Aly has run twice, in the Cumbria Today feature she explains why she is so passionate about the 10in10 and what’s involved in looking after the runners.

If you’d like to achieve media coverage, from news pieces to feature articles, podium pieces to business stories, Emma Dewhurst has 30 years of experience to help you. Please email for more details on our PR service.
